Welcome to SAM Moments™! For years we’ve talked about how small increases in three vital signs or KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) can make a huge difference in your income and Activity management overall.
We usually introduce this under the concept of “Why Keep Score?” and we end it with, “How are YOU to know, if you don’t keep score?” So, the question I have for you is, “What Key Performance Indicators, or metrics, are you tracking, or should YOU be tracking? Is it 1 or 2 or 3? And if you made a small increase in those, what effect would it have on your income?”
To demonstrate the impact of this, we frequently use the analogy of sports. Every golfer, for example, knows their key performance indicators, don’t they? They know how many fairways off the tee, greens in regulation and how many puts they have! And, of course, baseball players know, too, their important statistics or metrics like how many Home Runs and RBI’s? Whether it’s golf, baseball, football, basketball…you name it, all professional athletes know their metrics to improve their success.
But the BEST analogy I’ve ever heard in regard to sports, was at the 2019 LAMP Conference! I’ve never it quite as well said and demonstrated as John Laurito did on the main platform when he talked about one of the most successful Tennis Players in the World, and what an impact they made by just improving ONE key performance indicator or metric!
What a huge difference it made in their career…and I sincerely hope you take a couple minutes to watch this link which I’m sure you can also find by Googling it or searching on YouTube! Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_g1Y0WbLENc.
