Product Usage Tip: Maximizing Your Week…At-A-Glance

Do you find you frequently overlook all the benefits of your SAMBook? Take a look at your weekly calendar pages, also known as the Week-At-A-Glance pages, which areas do you neglect? Like most other sales professionals, you are not maximizing your Daily Activity Tracking at the bottom of your page, and in turn, you are not holding yourself accountable. The Daily Activity Tracking section exists to complement your Action Plan, where you listed your daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals at the beginning of the year. In order to stay focused on those goals you need a daily reminder to ensure that you are reaching your Daily Activity Goals and that is why the scorekeeping grid exists.  

The scorekeeping grid (displayed below) will look different in each SAMBook but the guidelines remain the same. For each dial you make place a number in the box, for each contact reached, circle the number and for each appointment scheduled place an X over the box. 

So “Dial for Dollars” because each call you make can lead to a set appointment which can eventually result in a Close! And according to Activity Management Principle #3, “What Gets Measured Tends to Get Done –and Improve”, so keep dialing and watch your production soar.
