Activity Management Best Practices

Pick One…And Grow!
By Mickey Straub

One of the things that constantly amaze me is how some of the greatest
lessons we can learn happen at unexpected times. Recently, that
occurred when I was talking with a friend and colleague of mine from
Dallas, TX.

Maryanne Wihbey, president of Peak Performance Systems,
was reflecting on her start in the insurance business and her passion
for activity management.

She said to me, “My general agent used to really drill into us that the real value of activity management is that it helps us to improve, and he was right!”

Industry News

32% of
households own no life insurance of any kind.

Only 23% of households say they
have an agent/advisor.

60% of households say they prefer to purchase life
insurance face-to-face.

Product Usage Tips

 Goals: Front And Center
By Maris Haster

Goals

Goals give us a track to run on, something to strive for, and a clear focus.

The number one benefit to using the SAM Planner is that it helps you to measure, focus on, and achieve your goals.

Why is that the primary emphasis?

Sales professionals with goals are much more likely to succeed than those without! Goals motivate us to achieve our best - it really is that simple!

 ON THE BRIGHT SIDE

The Pittsburgh Samaritan

Since too much of the news these days is negative, we decided to start spreading good news. If you have positive, good news to share, let us know.

A Pittsburgh resident spent a recent weekend in Chicago for no other reason than for the opportunity to do good deeds for five random strangers.

His hope: that they would pay it forward and do the same for others.

The
Common Denominator of Success

The secret of success of every man who
has ever been successful-lies in the fact that he formed the habit of
doing things that failures don’t like to do.
