It takes just a few quick steps to schedule reports to be delivered right to your email.
Setting up a Scheduled Report from Quicklinks
When you run a report, at the upper right hand side of the screen, there are three Quicklinks, which enable you to save a report as a favorite, schedule a report once it is queried, or email a particular report.
Once a report is selected it can be saved as a scheduled report, by click on the “Schedule this Report” Quicklink. When you click on the link, you will be automatically redirected to the Scheduling sub-tab of the Reports section. The report you queried will be populated in the Scheduled Reports section, so all you will need to do is:
1) Add a title to the report
2) Click on the save button in the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
Setting up a Scheduled Report Directly from the Scheduling Sub-Tab
Click on the blue Reports tab and select the Scheduling sub-tab, which is divided into three parts:
Top-most section: includes navigation tabs
Left section: where available scheduled reports are listed
Main section: Create, modify or delete scheduled reports
Click on the “New” Button in the lower right corner and fill in the required information:
Start Time: From the month, day, year, time, and time-zone pull-down menus, select the start date for the scheduled report.
Repeat Frequency: You can select Never Repeat, Repear Every specified day or week, or Repeat on a specific day and month interval.
Email Recipients: Designate the email addresses to which the report should be sent. If you are including more than one email address, separate email addresses using commas.
Report Content: Select the content of your scheduled report. The data that has been entered for your activity will be used for the report. Select the features that you want included in the scheduled report. Of the available choices, left mouse click on any item’s box to select or deselect that feature.
Confirm and save the new scheduled report by clicking on the activated save button in the lower right hand corner of the screen.
Editing a saved scheduled report. To make any changes to your scheduled report, select the report you need to edit from the list of currently saved reports, use the mouse to right-click on the scheduled report that you want to edit. The selected report will be highlighted in dark blue in the list of available reports. For the selected report, the report title, start date, repeat, send to Email(s), and options for displaying the report will be shown. To edit any of the features of the selected report, change that feature accordingly. Note that the save button will not be activated until a change to the selected report has been made.
